Welcome to All Down The Line. I’m your charming hostess, Caryn Rose, also known as the proprietress of metsgrrl.com. Over the past few years, I’ve been lucky enough to travel around and add a few new ballparks each year to my out-of-town parks collection. I love baseball, I love travel, and I love writing, and my baseball travelogues have been some of the most popular articles over at metsgrrl.com. However, people who like reading my travel writing are not necessarily the same people who want to read about my daily trials and tribulations as a Mets fan, so I thought I’d put together a site that just aggregated my baseball travelogues. Et voila.
I got better at these as I went along. The photos got better over the years too. I still think there is something charming about the early reviews, but I reserve the right to replace them as I revisit. And some parks, like the old Yankee Stadium and the former home of the Nationals, never got a review, just a road report.
The title of the site comes from one of the best rock and roll albums in the history of rock and roll. (No, that statement is not open to debate.)

COMMENTS POLICY
At the moment, older articles on the site are closed to comments. I’m happy to answer questions via email but leaving comments open will turn the comment sections into either a question parade or a heated debate about how I’m wrong about the sushi in Seattle or the beer in St. Louis. While I don’t think I have any kind of definitive line on this subject, the point of the site is that it’s about my opinion – I’m not pretending to be objective. If you view this as “censorship,” my position on the subject is that while I am a fanatical supporter of free speech, there is nothing in the Constitution that requires that I provide you with a soapbox to air your opinions.
Corrections of factual errors are always welcome at metsgrrl@gmail.com.

I do not do link exchanges. I link to sites that I think are cool and offer some synergy for people who are reading the site. I hope that if you think this site is interesting or cool, that you will link to it.
I will not link to commercial interests. If you’re in this for the money, then please email me regarding purchasing ad space.
